- Out sick — Mark a nanny or a family out for the day, with symptoms the whole pod sees. Any parent can do it, not just an admin.
- Covering the day — A sick nanny’s sessions stay on the calendar and ask for a caretaker. Any parent can step in, and that session isn’t billed.
- Sick pay — Set a contract on a nanny’s profile: paid days per year, a flat rate, and whether one family pays or the pod splits it. Paid days appear in Billing and in her earnings.
- Who hears about it — The pod sees the symptoms, the affected family gets “needs a nanny,” and at 5 pm she’s asked if she’s back tomorrow.
